Who are we hiring?
The Manager, Social Content (Temp) is a key member of the Sphere Social team, responsible for leading the day-to-day execution, operational management, and creative production of @spherevegas social content. Reporting to the Director, Social Content, this role blends strategy, editorial judgement, production oversight, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
This role serves as the primary social lead for Las Vegas-based content development and onsite coverage, partnering cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class social storytelling. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a highly capable executor, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, can independently manage competing priorities, and has a strong understanding of how to create culturally relevant content at speed and scale.
What will you do?
- Own and lead the day-to-day social content pipeline for @spherevegas, managing priorities across real-time coverage, campaign support, partnerships, and editorial content
- Support the Director, Social Content as point of contact for Las Vegas-based social production, overseeing coordination across internal stakeholders, production teams, and external partners
- Lead content planning, briefing, production, approvals, and delivery across multiple concurrent projects and tight timelines
- Partner closely with Creative and Production teams to concept and execute social-first content aligned to platform best practices and business objectives
- Capture and direct onsite social coverage for events, residencies, brand moments, and partner activations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content
- Provide creative direction and actionable feedback to Creative and Production teams throughout the production process
- Edit and oversee the creation of short-form social content for all social channels
- Manage and maintain social asset organization systems, content calendars, edit pipelines, and approvals tracking across teams
- Translate performance insights, cultural trends, and audience behavior into content recommendations and real-time editorial opportunities
- Navigate fast-moving approvals and stakeholder feedback with strong judgement, professionalism, and prioritization skills
- Facilitate onsite access, production logistics, vendor coordination, and partner communications as needed
- Support the Director, Social Content in broader content strategy, team operations, and cross-functional initiatives
- Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of experience in social media, digital content, entertainment marketing, or creative production, preferably within a fast-paced and/or highly-matrixed organization
- Strong portfolio of social content pieces (video and graphic/static), projects, and campaigns for reference – including real-time event capture
- Proven experience independently managing complex social content workflows and high-volume production environments
- Strong understanding of social-first storytelling, platform trends, audience behavior, and content performance optimization
- Demonstrated experience leading real-time event coverage and producing content under tight timelines and evolving priorities
- Strong creative judgement with the ability to brief, direct, and provide feedback to internal creatives and external production partners
- Advanced proficiency in social production and creative tools, including Airtable, Frame.io, Adobe Creative Suite, Slate, and native platform tools
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong editorial instincts and ability to make informed decisions quickly and independently
- Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically, with a willingness to be hands-on when needed
- Experience within entertainment, live events, sports, music, hospitality, or experiential brands preferred
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and onsite events as needed
