Who are we hiring?
The Sphere Marketing team is searching for a Director, Brand Programs to oversee year-round initiatives that build our brand across a variety of Sphere experiences, cultural moments, and brand partnerships. This person will play a key cross-functional role, working closely with Brand Strategy, Customer Marketing, Creative, Product, Sales, and other teams.
The Director Brand Programs will be based in our Burbank, CA office and report to the VP Brand Strategy & Programs for Sphere Entertainment.
What will you do?
- Lead a team of Brand Program Managers, defining clear roles and responsibilities for individual team members.
- Oversee project planning and delivery of Sphere brand initiatives including brand positioning and messaging, visual identity, brand guidelines, and brand campaigns.
- Lead end-to-end development of integrated creative for all Sphere Experiences in partnership with Brand Strategy and Creative.
- Lead program planning for the Sphere cultural calendar and oversee delivery of specific activations in collaboration with Brand Strategy, Creative, and Events.
- Work closely with Sales and Strategic Alliances leaders to integrate brands and other partners with our cultural programs, breaking down traditional B2C/B2B barriers.
- Consult on brand solutions as/when needed to ensure that exosphere advertisers unlock the greatest value and potential from our platform.
- Prepare and present reports regularly to senior management and x-functional partners.
What do you need to succeed?
- Passion to shape the future of entertainment globally and a curiosity for how technology will enable new experiences that wow audiences.
- 12+ years of experience leading a variety of brand and marketing initiatives, including 5+ years leading a team.
- A mix of agency and in-house experience at a large, matrixed corporation preferred. Entertainment and Tech brand experience strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise leading end-to-end development of a wide variety of creative outputs, from brand identity, to integrated campaigns, to cultural activations, and IRL experiences.
- Expert communicator with leadership presence and a proven ability to positively influence stakeholders across a large organization.
- Able to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment, with flexibility to pivot plans as business needs change and opportunities arise.
- Highly collaborative with infectious enthusiasm and openness to new ideas/solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage workload.
- Accountable and detail-oriented, from planning to execution and analysis of results.
