Who are we hiring?

The Sphere Marketing team is searching for a VP Social & Creator Content to lead our efforts to engage a growing Sphere community on social media, and amplify our reach and influence through creator partnerships. This role will play a key cross-functional role, working closely with Marketing, Creative, Product, Sales, Comms, and other teams.

The VP Social & Creator Content will be based in the Burbank, CA office and report directly to the SVP Global Head of Marketing for Sphere Entertainment.

 

What will you do?

  • Lead a growing Social & Creator-focused team, defining a new org structure with clear roles and responsibilities for individual team members
  • Oversee the planning, development, and posting of all content for Sphere Social
  • Manage a team of video producers/editors who create fast turnaround assets for Social and Comms, including on-site shoots and drone photography at the Sphere venue
  • Run a program of experiments and growth-oriented initiatives designed to rapidly scale Social followers and engagement, delivering against business goals
  • Develop and execute a scalable strategy for Creator Partnerships, leveraging a mix of internal and agency/platform resources
  • Partner closely with Live, Customer, and Brand Marketing leaders to understand their priorities and support integrated efforts
  • Work with Sales and Operations to develop new solutions for amplifying brand partners via the Sphere Social and Creator ecosystem

What do you need to succeed?

  • Passion to shape the future of entertainment globally and a curiosity for how technology will enable new experiences that wow audiences
  • 12+ years of experience leading Social and Creator initiatives, including 5+ years leading teams Entertainment and Tech brand experience required
  • Deep expertise leading Social and Creator strategy, developing a wide variety of content across all major platforms, and executing paid boosts and partnerships
  • Experience overseeing video production for social media, and well versed in best practices for driving video performance on IG, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Confident analyzing various data sources to evaluate and report brand lift, social engagement, and sales performance resulting from Social/Creator marketing
  • Expert communicator with leadership presence and a proven ability to positively influence exec stakeholders across a large organization
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, with flexibility to pivot plans as business needs change and opportunities arise
  • Highly collaborative with infectious enthusiasm and openness to new ideas/solutions
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Accountable and detail-oriented, from planning to execution and analysis of results

Pay Range
$160,000$280,000 USD
