Revenue Analyst

Who are we hiring? 

The Revenue Analyst will provide advanced analytical capabilities to grow revenue across all Sphere Experience ticketing and hospitality products. The Revenue Analyst will work with multiple departments (Data & Analytics team, Ticketing/Box Office team and Finance) as needed, focusing on pricing optimization, forecast modeling, reporting and development of inventory mix strategies.

What will you do?

  • Work directly with Sales & Marketing stakeholders as well as the Box Office team on development and execution of both on-sale and dynamic pricing strategies across all Sphere Experience ticketed events.
  • Collaborate with other key departments (Finance, Data & Analytics, etc.) to consume data from multiple platforms by aggregating the data that will help drive analytical insights. 
  • Research the competitive entertainment industry and local to inform business units on market landscape and identify areas of strength & weakness to determine pricing power for The Sphere Experience.
  • Assist with Pricing data analysis across multiple departments/products (Consumer Sales, Events, Group Sales, Premium Suites, parking, service fees, etc.).
  • Decision-making
    • Venue scaling
    • Performance scheduling
    • Event-by-event dynamic pricing changes
  • Assist in updating of weekly ticket sales metrics to assess performance versus budget.
  • Perform financial modeling of recommended pricing and discount strategies to ensure achievement of corporate financial goals.
  • Create and distribute daily/weekly reports with a special focus on show performance and potential strategies/solutions.
  • Provide analytical/reporting support on various pricing projects and initiatives.
  • Work with price optimization vendors (Ticketmaster & Pricemaster teams) to improve system forecasting, price change execution and dynamic pricing strategy.
  • Monitoring and analyzing competitor properties, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant or related work experience required in revenue analysis
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced Excel Knowledge
  • Strong MS Office skill level (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Strong statistics background with experience in statistical modeling preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to explain complex analytical concepts to a broad audience.
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships across multiple business groups.
  • Highly advanced analytical skills and ability to learn new reporting platforms.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster systems (Archtics, TM One, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus.

Pay Range
$75,000$100,000 USD
