Who are we hiring?
The Concessions Associate is responsible for preparing food/beverage items and selling products to guests during events in a friendly & courteous manner. This position is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness of their assigned location, processing cash and charge transactions and assisting Team Leads with timely set-up and breakdown of all work areas, specifics in food safety, food production, guest relations, equipment use and maintenance.
What will you do?
- Prepare display merchandise & sell products to patrons in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Assist patrons in their selection of merchandise by answering any questions they may have.
- Assist merchandise, concession, and bar supervisors in the set-up of the assigned selling area.
- Process credit card charge transactions for merchandise and food/beverage selling areas.
- Walking and selling various food, beverage & merchandise items throughout the Sphere front-of-house.
- Verify point of sale terminal financials and reconcile with stand lead and/or supervisor by location.
- Completes daily and nightly inventory.
- Notify the stand lead and/or supervisors of product that requires replenishment during the course of an event.
- Assist stand lead and/or supervisor in the closing down of merchandise, concession, and bar areas at the conclusion of an event.
- Maintains Southern Nevada Health Dept. standards and executes the procedures in place.
What do you need to succeed?
- Must be able to handle transactions without a register and also have experience efficiently processing point-of-sale transactions.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service; ability to multi-task in a high stress environment
Special Requirements
- Able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50
- Must be flexible to rotate positions within a shift.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
