Who are we hiring?
The Sales Manager will be an experienced sales professional whose role is to grow partnership revenue and drive commercial opportunities for Sphere Co. The Sales Manager is responsible for engaging in client and agency relationships to drive new business and maximize revenue across marketing partnership deals across Sphere Co. The Sales Manager will cover select categories such a CPG, Food & Bev, Telco, Travel & Automotive.
What will you do?
- Work efficiently and effectively on maximizing revenue through strategic marketing solutions and innovative sales and marketing concepts focused on international partnerships opportunities.
- Develop in conjunction with Strategy team, a plan to address partnership opportunities
- Self-starter, with ability maintain their own active, qualified outbound sales process to generate new business.
- Drive a quantitative, qualitative, and transparent sales process.
- Lead the creation of proposals and pitch decks for prospects and partners.
- Prospect potential clients for marketing and sponsorship opportunities.
- Ensure all accounts are accurately tracked and regularly updated in the CRM system.
- Lead the contractual process in partnership with the Legal team, managing timelines and deadlines with both internal and external legal stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Strategy, Marketing, PR, Finance, Legal, and others to support deal execution and client success.
What do you need to succeed?
- 4+ years’ experience in sales, strategic marketing, media, or sponsorship execution.
- Self-starter, with ability to maintain their own active, qualified outbound sales process to generate new business.
- Technical proficiency with PC’s, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, & PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments to maximize revenue through strategic marketing solutions and innovative sales and marketing concepts.
- Ability to think creatively to develop the best possible sales strategies.
- Ability to establish strong relationships with agencies and clients.
- Ability to manage sales quota and build pipelines to meet sales goals.
- Ability to embrace change with a flexible mindset, even if the way forward isn’t clear.
- Ability to present proposals to potential and existing clients.
