Who are we hiring?
During events, the Sphere Server provides food and beverage service to guests at tables and assists with any food or general event related guest inquiries. This individual exhibits a warm, friendly and professional demeanor at all times to further enhance the guest experience.
What will you do?
- Provide excellent customer service and serves food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and accurate manner.
- Ensure proper table maintenance during service, including setting and re-setting in between courses.
- Check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages.
- Responsible for overall hospitality and guest services in premium spaces
- Responsible for keeping stations stocked and clean during shift; running food from kitchen/pantry; preparing coffee beverages.
- Escalate guest questions or concerns to Manager and/or Supervisor as needed.
- Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
What do you need to succeed?
- Prior wait staff experience required.
- Knowledge of Southern Nevada Health Food regulations and proper food handling certifications.
- Must take and pass TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) Nevada training class; Adheres to TEAM training guidelines.
- Experience in Point of Sale (POS), purchasing and inventory systems.
- Ability to work well under pressure and have a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, a commitment to high-quality customer service and an ability to handle a high-pressure environment.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to Nevada state regulations.
Special Requirements
- General physical requirements such as lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, walking long distances, bending and constant motion is often required. Occasional kneeling is also required.
- May be exposed to theatrical smoke, strobe lights, pyrotechnics, intense sound, rapid motion video effects, smoke, and odors
