Who are we hiring?

The Vice President of Brand Experiences will lead vision, strategy of end-to-end planning and execution of Sphere’s high profile premium brand events and private experiences- one of the company’s fastest revenue growing areas. This role serves as the central point of escalation and executive accountability across the full complex, cross-functional, event lifecycle—overseeing initiatives from early concept developments, scheduling coordination, and client engagement through production, budgeting, execution, and final settlement.

Working in close partnership with executive leadership, internal teams and external partners - including clients, agencies, Studios, venue operations, and production teams – this role leads the integrated and cross functional planning and project management of content development, in-venue activations, hospitality, Food and beverage, ticketing, artist selection and logistics. This role drives operational excellence and disciplined execution, ensuring events are delivered on time and to Sphere’s highest creative, operational, and brand standards.

Success in this position requires a highly organized, execution focused leader with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments. This role requires sounds judgement, analytical problem-solving, and discretion in handling confidential information as well as a proactive, hands-on mindset.

What will you do?

  • Lead end-to-end project management for high profile, premium brand events and private experiences from ideation through execution and final settlement.
  • Maintain and oversee comprehensive event documentation, including contracts, budgets, ticketing plans, production and content development, event logistics, timelines, workflow streams, tracking mechanisms, and clear accountability for workstream owners across all phases of delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Sphere, clients, and third-party vendors, managing production requirements, operational considerations, and ancillary or sponsor needs.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to support and oversee integrated planning and project management across Sales, Live, Marquee Events, Sphere Studios, Marketing, Partnerships, Finance, Legal, PR, and other Sphere stakeholders, including content development, in‑venue activations, hospitality, food and beverage, ticketing, artist selection, marketing and communications reviews, and event logistics.
  • Drive strong cross-organizational coordination, optimizing communication and alignment to deliver successful event outcomes for both Sphere and clients.
  • Identify, negotiate and capture incremental revenue opportunities throughout the planning process to meet or exceed approved financial targets.
  • Manage post-event reconciliation, settlement, and wrap-up, including documentation, reporting, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Facilities to manage event costs, maximize event profitability, and participate in P&L reviews.
  • Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships across multiple industries and categories.
  • Stay current on industry, marketplace, and experiential trends through ongoing external research.
  • Design and implement short- and long-term processes to improve departmental workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, including agenda development, progress tracking, documentation of action items, and follow-through.
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, presentations, and written materials as requested.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 10+ years of experiences leading planning and execution of premium, complex large-scale brand events, live event programming within a venue, experiential agency, entertainment, sports or hospitality environment.
  • Proven success managing complex, high-profile events from concept through execution and final settlement, including budgeting, production oversight, and client engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing a small team, including direct management of at least one full-time team member.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Studios, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Production.
  • Solid commercial acumen with experience managing P&L’s and identifying incremental revenue opportunities throughout the event life cycle.
  • Extensive experience working directly with senior-level clients, agencies, brands and third-party vendors in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events, priorities and stakeholders without sacrificing quality or execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations and briefings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sounds judgment and discretion when handling time-sensitive decision and confidential information.
  • Track record of building and maintaining long-term client and partner relationships across industries and categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and optimize operational processes that improve efficiency, scalability and team effectiveness.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills
  • Ability to multi-task various projects while working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to be highly organized and to oversee several projects at the same time.

Pay Range
$160,000$220,000 USD
